Here we have a rotating bird perch wheel perfect for sticking to windows using suction cups, mounting outside in an Avery with permanent fixing screws or attaching to your bird’s cage with the fixings provided, the more birds you have the more fun they will have.
PLEASE NOTE this product is made from safe, strong materials (unlike cheaper copy’s made from plywood) plywood is made by gluing multiple layers of wood together. when your bird chews on plywood they are eating glue. WHICH IS DEADLY.
This bird perch wheel comes in two sizes 30cm and 40cm in diameter. The 30cm has 3 perches and the 40cm has 5 perches. The perches are fixed to the wheel and measure 15cm long and 15mm in diameter perfect for small to medium birds they are made from untreated natural birch wood which is safe for birds.
This would not be suitable for parrots or any large birds as they will be too heavy and could potentially scare them. This wheel is made from safe materials and wood making it safe for your birds unlike cheaper copies on the market.
The bearings are heavy duty and will last years and years. This is a truly quality piece with all the best materials used. Adjusting how freely the wheel spins is done by tightening or loosening the central wheel bearing grub screws with an Alan key they clamp the bearings to the bolt. Also, how tight you screw the bolt to the mounting plate can affect the way the wheel spins.
(PLEASE DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN). Attaching the wheel to tight will prevent the wheel from spinning and could damage the mounting bracket as it is only plastic. Please see the photo which show how it fits together as well as what I have explained above. Please don’t expect your birds to automatically jump onto this wheel it takes time and patience and a little training for them to get used to it, once confident they will love it and the more, they fly on and off the more it will spin due to the weight difference in each bird.
PLEASE NOTE = This bird perch wheel will be delivered flat packed (unassembled), It is very easy to build but will require some standard tools such as a size 2 Alan key, 10mm spanner and socket, Phillips (Pozi) screw driver, (TOOLS ARE NOT INCLUDED).
