Our round bird perch attachment brackets are designed for the customer to easily attach them to any natural tree branch using wood screws making the perfect perch for any bird cage or aviaries etc. The brackets will clamp to anything and are suitable to take a wooden branch diameter of as little as 1cm to as big as you require, you will receive the brackets, in white, bolt, washers and wing nuts, please note no wooden branches or wood screws are included. You simply drop the bolt into the slotted part, push that part up to the wooden object and screw it on. And when you need to replace worn perches just unscrew and add a new one. Any natural tree branches should be soaked in hot boiling water with a bird friendly disinfectant and scrubbed to kill any bacteria or disease that could be on the wood. Not all wood types can be used as some are toxic to birds, so I suggest doing some research. We recommend the following types of wood, acacia, almond, apple, arbutus, ash, aspen, bamboo, beech, birch, citrus, cottonwood, crab apple, dogwood, elm, eucalyptus, fig, fir, fruitless mulberry, ginkgo, grape vines, grape palm, guava, hackberry, hawthorn, hazelnut, hibiscus, hickory, ironwood, larch, lilac, liquidambar madrona, magnolia, manzanita, maple.
